My invention is going to be an i-pod watch. I know that many different items are coming out with the "i" and this is one invention that has not been an idea yet. The Ipod Watch would be a small faced watch that could be made for women or men, depends on the look that they would like. This watch would be a small ipod that has a spot for headphones of course. It also would be a clock and have the weather of the area that the person is in right on the front screen. This Iwatch would be connected to Apple, of course. This would be a watch that has many different applications, including Itunes, weather, world clocks, timer, and applications that can be downloaded straight from the computer.
This weeks lab is about twitter. Twitter is good for many different reasons. The main reason is promotion. For this invention, twitter would make many different promotions about the Iwatch. For example, they would promote that the first 100 people to "re-tweet" what Apple is tweeting about the Iwatch will get a special deal. Another example is that once the Iwatch gets a number of followers, than those people would automatically be able to purchase an Iwatch even if they are sold out in stores.
I think that this idea is great for twitter because twitter is becoming a very popular social media site. Twitter is becoming large for high school students, college students, and even adults. Many companies are also on twitter to promote what they are doing that is new and finding ways to get the word out. It is free advertising so many companies are finding twitter to be a great way to promote their company and its ideas.
Have you consider the size dimensions of a watch that would offer all of these features?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a good idea, i feel like all the ipods are becoming smaller and smaller a watch is a great next step. So many kids walk around campus holding there ipod, just having that quick accessibility would be so convenient. Also have you ever though of wireless ear buds so there are no wires attached from your wrist to your ears?
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I really think that this would be great to walk around with and also be able to exercise with. I hate having to have a bunch of different devices so this watch could really combine two things I use daily.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea because with a watch you dont have to carry the ipod you can simply just wear it. When people go to the gym or walk around and want to listen to their ipods they have to hold it aswell with the many other things they have to hold, so this gives people a chance to still listen to their ipods without having to worry about where to place it.
